A beginners workshop perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy a meditative escape into the world of perfume and take home their own unique blend. We welcome parents and kids (14+) to enjoy this Mother’s Day special workshop with Kristine Ambrose of (Hi-Kish-Em-Ay) perfumes of Bend.
Our first hour will be a guided natural note smelling session using tinctures and oils associated with the floral and herbal growth in Oregon, along the west coast and a couple from around the world. This guided session will use scent strips as we move through an array of tinctures and oils.
In the second portion of class I will take you through the delicate process of blending notes together and creating our own short formulas using a palette of materials selected and listed below. Each attendee goes home with a 5ml. vial of their own unique blend.

Earthy: Fir Balsam, Black Pepper, Vanilla, Juniper, Fresh cut grass (fo), Fig (fo), Oak Moss (fo), Musk (fo)
Floral: Sweet Pea, Neroli, Lavender, jasmine,
Citrus: Lemon verbena (fo), Green Tea (fo), pink grapefruit
- Light refreshments and snacks will be provided. Please refrain from wearing perfume or scents during this workshop. This workshop will be held in the Wellness Center on the resort grounds.
