Location: Bend, Oregon and Sisters, Oregon
From June until October, we have a booth at the NW Crossing Farmers Market and the Sisters Farmers Market. We are looking for someone who would want to set up and work this booth for one weekend per month. There may be additional sales opportunities in the future.
Qualifications
-you must love working with and talking to people.
-you need to be able to carry 25 pounds, manage money, be very organized, reliable, honest.
-ideally someone with some experience with sales and/or events
-have a valid driver’s license.
-have an interest in natural scents and healthy skin care
-available to work weekends
-must be at least 18 years old
Job Description
The market sales associate is responsible for the retail sales of natural perfumes, lotions and home diffusion at local farmers markets, establishing a strong relationship with customer clientele and setting up displays.
This position is ideal for a college student seeking a summer project job looking for sales and entrepreneurial experience. The job is also ideal for anyone with a passion for natural scents who wants to learn more about the industry and make extra money.
-Help to set up and organize the booth at the farmers market before opening hours. 4-6 weekends this summer
-Greet customers and provide excellent customer service by offering product information, sampling and answering questions.
-Display products and samples in an appealing manner to attract customers and clean when needed.
-Assist customers in selecting products and offer recommendations.
-Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
-Count inventory prior to opening and at close
-Ensure cleanliness and organization of the booth throughout the day.
-Represent the company in a professional and friendly manner.
